Sagres among Portugal’s most popular surfing destinations on Instagram

The Algarvian town of Sagres is the fourth most popular surfing destination in Portugal on Instagram, according to a study by search engine for holiday rentals Holidu.

Leading the way is Lisbon with 6,475 hashtags, followed by Cascais (3,924), Porto (3,184) and Sagres (3,011).

Also included in the top-10 are Madeira, Matosinhos, Leiria, Aveiro, Sintra and the Azores.
